Unified Data Models
Unified Data Models let integrations work with data from third-party applications in a standardized way.
For example, if you want to get a list of users from any app, you can use Users UDM without knowing how exactly to get users from a given application or what their data structure looks like.
When building integrations, you can:
  • Use fields of Unified Data Models returned from Find Data Records node or Data Event trigger. They are always named the same and located in the same place. Integration.app will provide their values wherever a third-party application has the field (or something that can be transformed to the field) available.
  • Provide default values for Unified Data Models to flow nodes like Create Data Record or Update Data Record. These values will be transformed into application-specific fields by integration.app wherever possible and used as default configuration displayed to your users.
Additionally, all Data Records you get from or send to integration.app have the following standardized fields:
  • id (string) - a unique id of the record.
  • name (string) - a user-readable name of the record.
